Welcome to Handmade Country's
"kraftee things for Country Living"
On-line Newsletter!!

Ok, ok, so I'm not really Irish ;) But, I found my pot of on the internet.  It was 3 years ago this month that I really started getting involved with an inter relay chat program called mIRC.  I got online in February but spent most of that time surfing the net and talking on the Aleene's chatroom.  In that chatroom someone mentioned mIRC, so I asked about it, and it has been one of my favorite past times ever since.  I met so many fun friends from all over the world.  A few of these friends had made webpages and helped steer me in the right direction.  Their help was invaluable to me :)

I LOVED learning new things and meeting new people, I was so fasinated by the internet, learning, meeting new friends.  For the first time since college I felt useful to people other than my kids.

St. Patrick's Day is the day, 3 years ago that I started to get to know my bestfriend, a wonderful person who is alot like myself, I guess I had a bit of the "Luck of the Irish" that day  :)

It's sometimes hard to have friends that live so far away, when you wish you could take your friend out for their birthday or have your kids play together.  Gifts I can give them are usually things I can make on the computer, so I dedicate this issue of my newsletter to those friends I have made on IRC or through my website, that I can't hug in person, or go to a movie with.  To those who have loved and cared about me, saved me from myself and the dark hole I was in before the "Luck of the Irish" was with me!

Welcome to the second edition of my newsletter.  This time I have these fun things to share with you!

May your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow.  And may trouble avoid you wherever you go.

~Irish Blessing

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind always be at your back,
The sunshine warm upon your face,
The rain fall soft upon your fields,
and until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.

~Irish Blessing

May you always have...
Walls for the winds
A roof for the rain
Tea beside the fire
Laughter to cheer you
Those you love near you
And all your heart might desire.

~Irish Blessing

May the Irish hills caress you,
May the lakes and rivers bless you.
May the luck of the Irish enfold you,
May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.

May the leprechauns be near you,
To spread luck along your way.
And may the Irish angels,
Smile upon you St. Patrick's Day.
